A LITTLE ABOUT ME

A very busy mother of a 6 yr old little girl. A passion for
art & design. I love gardening, cooking (hopeless but enthusiastic) theatre, movies, podcasts, apple technology, flowers, music, wine and currently the colour pink, but that changes with the years.

Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden
Picnic high up (above the dinosaurs) to feel the breeze and view over Cape Town. Many trees and benches offer welcome shade. Check out the many and diverse concerts which take place throughout the year.

Simple food prepared with love, care & fresh ingredients. Huge selection of specialist Coffee & Tea.

​Table Mountain Aerial Cableway
You cant visit Cape Town and not stand on Table Mountain. Ride up in minutes, walk up the various paths, run up? However you choose to explore this beautiful mountain its a must.

​The Pot Luck Club
If you love 'food' and not just eating, give the Pot Luck a try. Its a culinary experience. You will need to book well in advance.

The Test Kitchen
There are no stunning views from the Test Kitchen other than those served on your plate. Each dish carefully crafted for both the eye and its deliciousness. You need time to enjoy the Test kitchen, Its not a place to grab lunch or dinner, its a high end culinary experience. Book well in advance.

South African National Gallery
Walk from the Art House through Company Gardens (15 mins) Take in one painting, a sculpture or two or stay all morning!

World of Birds Wildlife Sanctuary
Bird, Monkey and many other animals. rescued from various situations, now living and being cared for at WOB. You can view the animals at very close proximity, many living freely un-caged. Views from the WOB are also stunning. Hout Bay is very close for lunch and great for families or a romantic stroll after. The 'Red Bus' stops here often (see getting around).

​The Roundhouse Restaurant
Views extend across the mountain, woodland and down to Camps Bay. Inside its a bit old fashioned, outside on the lawn more relaxed. Freindly staff. A variety of food from formal to informal.

​The Fugard Theatre
The tiny Fugard theatre is lovely. Ive seen some great productions (Cabaret) And some truly awful shows (Orpheus in Africa) So check
out whats on and go along with an open mind.
